Case Study is Victoria secret ethical

 The company we have chosen to write a case study on is Victoria's Secret, with the focus on their PINK line. Victoria's Secret is America's largest lingerie retailer. The ethical theory we are going to connect the PINK line to is, deontology.  The PINK line has been criticized by parents of teenage and preteen girls, because they find the product is unethical to sell to their children. Parents are prejudice against PINK lines sexual slogans and sexuality their line puts out. Their underwear has slogans such as "I'm feeling lucky" and "be mine" which many parents find provocative. The PINK line is targeted towards college students but teenagers and preteens are maturing faster, which is a big reason why they decide to buy the product. It is every teenagers dream to act older and that is exactly what today's teenagers are doing. Victoria's Secret has a moral obligation to uphold their statement by saying that their lines are not for teenagers or preteens; only for college students and older women. The Victoria's Secret company was caught in some trouble during their last fashion show when they had Justin Bieber performing. During the performance there were many teenage and preteen girls that wanted to watch Justin Bieber. This may not seem like something bad but in reality it sends a message towards the teenage girls which says Justin Bieber likes Victoria's Secret girls and the product Victoria's Secret sells. In an interview a Victoria's Secret's spokesperson said they did not target teenage girls to purchase the product, but their actions state otherwise.

Vision Statement

Imagine a world where everyone was living their dream. A world full happiness and everyone achieving everything and anything they could imagine. Everyone living life to the fullest and in abundance. my vision for my world around me is to show everyone they have the ability to do anything they wish to achieve without limitation or excuses. 

In the past year i've had so much change around me and my outlook on things i see in everyday life. At the beginning of my senior year i was introduced to personal development. i was handed several books one of which was Think And Grow Rich written by Napoleon Hill. This book opened my mind up tremendously. Napoleon Hill studied his mentor Andrew carnegie for more than 20 years and put the 13 most important principles in the book to teach everyone the laws of his success. the book simply states, through positive thoughts and elimination of anything negative you can achieve anything you wish. this along with other success leaders such as Bob Proctor, Will Smith, Oprah, Eric Thomas.

The brain is an Amazing organ, the best computer in the universe, and once you learn how to use  it to benefit you. There is so much more to the brain than just adding and subtracting numbers. I want to teach people how to use their brain to work with the universe and how to use the universe to their advantage.

People always wonder why I'm so positive or how i remain positive even in the most negative times. This such a hard topic to cover because its amazing the power our thoughts and beliefs have on our day to day lives. everything in your lives you've attracted into it. you are the creator of your own destiny and your the only one that can change your destiny. once your thoughts change you will notice everything around you will start changing. its a really hard concept to understand but its very crucial to our lives. i understand how it works and want to change peoples lives by teaching everyone to live the life they want by controlling their thoughts and breaking beliefs that are holding them back from their own success.

Succes from My Point Of View

 With the success pathway to success way of life that is not a destination but rather a journey. When I think of success everything else goes away. To me success is what I live for, coming from the family where success doesn't happen too often and is seen as not getting a woman pregnant or ending up in jail. Im going to change my family's reputation of being “low lives” or drug abusers. I am going to be successful and will be remembered for leaving my mark on this world. I don't know exactly how the that is going to happen as of right now but I can guarantee you I'm working towards that I will be

 When i remembered the the people with success within their families they always had lawyer parents or the dad was some big businessman. My mother to me is successful. To never give up as single parent with four jobs and not once complain literally. never complained at all  she said to me never to complain, be thankful that you have the opportunity you have to get some extra income.

when people look at me they say “you can't take anything serious, you’re too immature or doesn't his school serious. But most of you don’t know the real me. nothing can stop me from my success. You ask “When will i know I’m successful” i will not be successful until my mom is retired and never has to work. Until she doesnt have to stress about the rent being paid, till she doesn’t have to worry about the electricity being turned off.until my brother can go shopping and not worry about how long he will have to make his clothes last. until that day I'm not successful but I guarantee that day will come, whether i'm some big business man or just small time businessman, it doesn't matter to me as always my mom does after work I'll be fine. I want to be able to support my family, to be able to support their dreams. I want to be able to have my son, not not stress about them not having their necessities. I am going to make sure that my kids won't have to go without having to wear the same gene for five years. the necessities will be covered,everything they won't have to spend the night at their aunts house because i couldn’t afford to pay the bills. My kids won't have to worry about any of that. My wife won't have to work work.my wife will beable to stay at home. i know theres a lot of feminist woman out there but hey if my wife doesn't WANT to work she doesn't have to. if she wants to work fine go ahead. I don't care. all i care about is her not having to. My kids will be able to go on adventures and trips  to places like California to go do fun things in life without having to worry about expenses.you get it my family won't have to worry, ill get to enjoy my family. I'll be a will to enjoy the present you with a wanted to spend time with them not miss out on the wrestling match or not miss out on the dance recital. I'll be able to enjoy them going up and not have to worry about anything like that. that is when i will be successful.   

Complaining

 I got to do this do that man did you hear about what happened. No one cares everyone complains that yet have you noticed when you complain the problem still there?  There's nothing complaining in a text about your situation. if you have to do something just do it don't complain about just do what you doing get it over with. People have problems every day And I guarantee there is a lot of people that have more problems than you. be grateful that you don't have to deal with with they have to deal with. My mom Told me to be grateful for the opportunity you have because it can always be worse. Yeah we do have this brother said that. We get so caught up on all we have to do we forget that there's always people that have a worse than that so we shouldn't complain about what we have going on. If there's something you can do about it stop complaining and change it. If you don't like something goat exit solve the problem don't just sit there and complain about it when it's complaining going to do to the situation? God never gives us more than we can handle that being said you are able to change it. So don't complain just get it done just do it

What I love about myself

The one thing that I love about myself is that I am a visionary and I have the heart to accomplish what I want to. I'm always optimistic when it comes to things because there's always gonna be a challenge or there's always something Thats going to go wrong.... A plan is never going to go through perfectly so why worry about the possibilities of something going wrong? This next part is a hard concept to explain but I am happy and content with what I have but I will always push myself to strive for more and to get more out of me. When someone is having a certain problem I always try to be approachable because I know how hard it is for someone that doesn't have anyone to talk to. So I try to make it easier for people to approach me. Along with that I always treat people as equal. I don't Bellevue that just because you have a certain degree or know so much that it makes you automatically better than someone that doesn't know what you know. 

Adults see me as a leader but personally I feel as if I am not ready to be a leader I feel as if i need to better my self personally before I can lead a group or a community. I am missing a few features or qualities that are important in being a leader. One of which is humility. Being humble is something I've always had to work on. I always have to have my name out there or take credit for something and try to but my name in the spotlight and it bugs me if I don't get recognized, so that would be something I would want to work on. Along with being a leader I need to be a leader you need to learn how to be patient and wait for the right time and the right place which is really hard for me because I want things on sight! With being patient you need to be disciplined and strong enough which is something hard for me to do since I hate doing things on a schedule and keep a routine! 

For this week I am going to choose one of the items and work on it for the rest of the week and right now humility is my biggest problem butttttt I think I should start out on something smaller just so it's easier to keep so ill work on being disciplined enough to keep my schedule. And go through with what I say I'm going to do.

The medium for this piece is a short animated promo video. To me the message Is about the quality of the food industry The quality of the food and how chipotle shows that they're better than everyone else by not using the usual techniques of food handling which is using unhealthy food by-productsfor the chickens or the D for the Cows such as corn which is unhealthy for them. They also show that they're making a change by treating their animals and where they get their food products in A healthy environment that's safe for their workers animals and their customers. They are making that change and doing something different not living like the other companies such as McDonald's Taco Bell Chick-fil-A Burger King for the human and animal product. 

Crush story

My crush story starts when i met the most beautiful girl at a party I was attending. Everything about her was perfect. Her hair her smile her eyes and the tattoo she had on her wrist, a musical treblecleft. At the time music was my life and to see that made her all the more better!(: her hair was long straight with blonde streaks, perfect for her skin tone. And her smile? Don't get me started! But besides that, after that night I would see her every where we go! Come to find out we had the same group of friends. I have no clue why I hadn't seen her before but I didn't care I knew her now. Let me give you an Idea of how pretty she was to me. Every time I would try and talk to her I would choke up! Which if you know me, I never choke or get nervous. To this day I still get nervous talking to her and approaching her. That's my crush story

Problem I see in the worlds

Today's topic is about problems I see in the world. The biggest problem that I see is people not living for life. I mean that as in they aren't achieving their dreams and living up to their potential. They so concerned with others people's influences that they don't achieve what they want in life. In today's society all I see is people looking for job security and people would rather do something they hate just because they don't want to take the risk of doing what they love.  Society has become so releient on working for someone else. Working a 9-5, being content working for a set amount of pay, and basically being a slave to your boss. The thin I hate seeing most is seeing someone live the life they don't want to live. We have a limited opportunity to achieve what we can in this life and should be using it to achieve our dreams not someone else's dream. Why not achieve what you want to? Why not be the CEO of your own multi billion dollar business? Or just be a loving parent to your children. I heard a quote once, it said "What ever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. So why not work on pursuing your own dreams and do what you want cause it's possible(:

What uppppppppp! Today's topic is what inspires me?? 

There are many things that inspire me but basically the thing that inspires me the most are the people who started from nothing but end up overcoming the odds and make it to the top! One of my favorite things is being the underdog. It started mainly in wrest,ing when I would be wrestling some guy that was 2 feet taller than me and thought he had won the match before it even started. I hate arrogance In thinking that somebody can't do something or accomplish a certain thing because of certain circumstances. It would shock the other coaches when this short, 5'4 chubby Kid would easily take down and pin his 6 ft muscle head. At the 220 weight class those were the features of most of my opponents. But it's the overcoming the doubt of people that inspire me. 

I remember at the start of the spring semester of my senior year I Started my quest for scholarships, and a fellow class mate would always put me down, thinking he was already gonna win the scholarship. Before I o into this let me remind you I had a 2.8 high school sGPA at the end of my senior year but I remained optimistic reminding my self that I will pay for my school. Which in the end paid off because I  received 8 different scholarships and paid for my entire schooling which I am very grateful for!(: when. Most people found out I received so many scholarships they were amazed and said one of two things. They either said "WOW you're really lucky!" Or they said "WOW you're so smart!!" Like I said earlier I was nooooo where near smart the main As I received where in my wrestling classes or my other electives. It was already difficult enough for me to maintain a B in my academic classes! And lucky? Well listen to this,  At the end of my senior year I had applied for 42 scholarships. Which for most students the most they apply for is around five. I knew that I was at a disadvantage because of my GPA so I had to keep my vision in my head 24/7. I put in so much work than most other students to receive the scholarships I got! I received a ratio of 8:42 which is less than 20%. From February to April almost every night I would stay up till 3 in the morning every night. Luck had nothing to do with it. It inspires me when I out in all this work and work and you finally achieve your goals.

When it comes to inspiration for me it's about those hard workers that bust there but to get to where they want to be and don't let anything stop in their past. They get knocked down 8 times and get up 9 times! To me it's not about what others did for you but what you did for yourself. Inspiration is when someone goes from the barrio to living the high life and doing everything they've wanted to accomplish. Hard work dedication and faith is my inspiration
